I stumbled across a set of transcriptions of early Guilford court records from 1781 to 1811. The first ten years of Guilford court records were burned, lost, or stolen at the time of the Battle of Guilford Courthouse, so we do not have court records from 1771 to August Term 1781. These PDF files were difficult to find on the Greensboro government website, so I downloaded them and then uploaded and linked them to the Court & Land Records page, so that you can download them and use them in your research.
