Fulp, Peter (d-1876)

Old Mr. Peter Fulp, the father of Joseph Fulp, of this county, who was living alone in his own house near his son’s dwelling, was burned to death last week. The house in which he lived was discovered to be on fire, when some persons hastened to it and forced open the door. The old man was seen lying on the floor near the fire place, but the blaze of falling- in building filled the doorway so that it was out of the power of human aid to save him, and he was consumed with the building.

Don’t hesitate to ask questions, submit information, or say hello! If you hit a brick wall, not just in Stokes County, don’t hesitate to ask, I’m pretty good at solving mysteries 🙂

If you haven’t seen them, here’s just a few of our local Churches and Cemeterie
