Blakie Genell HAWN, daughter of Emanuel Silvenes [Hahn] HAWN and Frances Annie Lee BOLLINGER, was born on 15 November 1895 in North Carolina.^496,712,1567 She died on 12 August 1978 at the age of 82 in Catawba County, North Carolina and was buried in Bethlehem Methodist Church Cemetery.⁷¹²

His obituary appeared as follows: CONOVER - Rhyne Woodrow Setzer Sr., 94, of Conover, passed away at his residence Nov. 1, 2009. Born Feb. 28, 1915, in Catawba County, he was a son of the late Hoyle C. and Blakey Hahn Setzer. He was a loving father, grandfather and devoted husband to his wife, Lillian. Mr. Setzer was the owner of Texas Metal Spinning Co. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Akers Setzer; a brother, Ned C. Setzer; and sisters, Ollie Setzer, Mary Fish and Dorothy "Dot" Reed. Survivors include his son, Rhyne W. Setzer Jr. and wife, Carol Prokop, of Chapel Hill; a daughter, Lakie Ann Setzer of New York, N.Y.; a granddaughter, Anna Catherine Setzer of Chapel Hill; brothers, George A. Setzer of Maiden and Hoyle C. Setzer Jr. of Claremont; sisters, Mae S. Killian and husband, Worth, of Hickory and Katherine S. Buchanan of Virginia; and numerous other family members. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, at Catawba Funerals & Cremations, with the Rev. Homer Greene officiating. Entombment will follow in Catawba Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.
