The following 264 cemeteries were surveyed and recorded by Mr. Jack Ingram and Mr. Woodford Sherrill of Ellerbe, NC. This was a
tremendous project, requiring tedious and painstaking efforts by these dedicated Richmond County men.
Their work was done during the 1980's and early 1990's. Many cemeteries contain hundreds of graves,
while some contain only one or two. As an extra bonas Mr. Ingram has added remarks from his personal
knowledge. All cemeteries are located in Richmond County. I will post their specific locations as I obtain them.
Our heartfelt thanks to Mr. Ingram and Mr. Sherrill, not only for their hard work, but for unselfishly sharing
their surveys with others. This is a tremendous help to those of us who otherwise would never find
our "lost" family members. Many Thanks! Myrtle Bridges March 3, 2012
