Blace Yarbrough Cemetery | |||
Location: On right side of Allie Clay Road (State Road # 1524) at the intersection of Turtle Hill Ct. Directions: From Roxboro: Go north on 501. Past Cavel take right onto Allie Clay Road (State Road # 1524). Go .5 mile. First drive on the right after passing intersection of Turtle Hill Ct. Cemetery Survey by: Ethel Brann Tillman Survey Date: April 17, 2004 Since there are some very old unmarked graves at this location, this cemetery may have been known in the past by another name that was not found by the research of the surveyor, however, I have chosen to call it the Blace Yarbrough Cemetery due to the fact that he is buried here and he owned this property for many years. These Yarbrough’s are the same family as the spelling Yarboro and Yarborough. Tips on reading the inscription listings: Comments or added information is in parentheses ( ).
