I am trying to locate others researching the BORDEAUX / BOURDEAUX lines.
My greatX3 grandfather was Moses T. Bourdeaux, b ca 1792 NC. He and his
wife, Martha COOPER, b ca 1792 were living in Lillington, New Hanover Co
when their son Daniel J was born ca 1819. The son changed the spelling
of his name by dropping the first 'u'. He married Margaret S LAMB, b 11
Nov 1824 in Lillington. Margaret was the daughter of Isaac Cowan LAMB.
I would like to find the names of Daniel J BORDEAUX's siblings, as well
as those of his father. I also wish to find the parents of Martha COOPER.
I have a considerable amount of information on the family of Margaret "Sena"
LAMB & her sister, Isabella Catherine "Kate" LAMB, as well as descendants
of one child born to Daniel J BORDEAUX and will be happy to share. I can

>During the Rev. War, from late-Jan 1781-Nov 1781, the Brits had control
of Wilmington, NC. During this time, the Brits "on their way to New River
to get old Mr HARNET, killed 8 men . . . at a house on the road 8 miles
from Wilmington . . . . 7 men and Major LOVE. . . . Col BLOODWORTH . .
. came to this house on the road, then occupied by one David BOWEN and
found them. . . ." There is no mention of what happened to David Bowen
at that time, if anything. Curiously, tho, his wife Elizabeth was appointed
Admx of his estate in early-1782. Any suggestions as to where or how I
can continue to get more info about him

I have some data on Henry PICKETT; and I'm looking for ANY PICKETT who had a daughter, Sarah b. NC ca 1793. She married Hezekiah GRANT, and they lived in Duplin Co., until he died in 1836 and then in 1850 she went to Pike Co., AL. I think she and Hezekiah also lived in Onslow Co., perhaps only briefly. Can you please enter this also as a New Hanover query? Thanks.
