Also, would appreciate explanation of exactly what a poll means.
My grgrgrgrandfather was a Hosea/Hosey Pickett who was born about 1815 in New Hanover Co, NC. He married a Mary Ann Mercer. I am hoping to be able to find which one of those men listed on the 1815 Tax List would be the father to my Hosea Pickett, b: 1815.
Looking forward to hearing from a Picket/Pickett researcher.
I have located "Brunswick" in Robeson County, which came out of Bladen County which came out of New Hanover County. I also have located "Brunswick Station" which is located in Brunswick County. I am guessing that she came from Brunswick in Robeson County since this is where most of the family ended up. But that's really a guess.
Can anyone point me in a good direction for research and documentation to locate ANN MULLINGTON and her family please!!!!!!!!
Thanks, Edie Rider
