My GGrandfather William D. GRIFFIN Died in Wilmington,NC April 27,1864 of Typhoid Fever. I think he was buried in Wilmington. Is there a cemetary in Wilmington or New Hanover Co. that he might be buried in? Please forward this to anyone who might have the information I am looking.

Margaret Banks was born in Hanover, NC in the late 1880's. She married Andrew Banks and they had (3) daughters that I know of: Hazel Banks, Dorothy Banks and Josephine Banks. I do not know the names of Margaret's parents or Andrew parents. If these names sound familiar or if you think you maybe able to help me with my search, please feel free to email me.

i am hoping that you may be able to shed some light on the WHEELDIN SURNAME in new hanover co, wilmington nc. my grandfather, JOHN LAWRENCE WHEELDIN, was born in 1876 in wilmington. i know that he had a brother, will and sisters hagar and estelle.i can find no info on them, and suspect that they left during the 1898 race riots. any help will be greatly appreciated. kind regards,

Looking for info on Howard Baxter GOODKNIGHT. He was in the 1910 census for New Hanover County along with his wife and son Howard. He had a daugther Josephine born 4 Jan 1912 in Wilmington, NC. Howard Baxter died (location and exact date UK) abouy 1915.
