John Elzie JUSTICE was born on 12/15/1874 in Wilmington, NC (I think).
He married Emma Jane DAY on 9/5/1902. He died on 9/30/1922 in Rosetta,
MS. John, Emma, and Carlos are buried in the cemetery at Rosetta. Their
children were: Julius, Thelma, Lurlee, Carlos, and Jacob. He served in
the merchant marines before coming to Mississippi.

John MOTT and Benjamin MOTT owned land in New Hanover CO, NC around 1725 - 30. Maybe Joseph MOTT also. Can anyone help me to find any more information about them? I would really appreciate your help.

October 11, 1797 New Hanover co., "Kitsey RETTOR married Samuel LOWELL August 7, 1799 New Hanover co., "Kitsey LOWELL married Jonathan STANDLEY Jonathan STANDLEY was a large plantation owner in Sampson & New Hanover NC. He died in 1830 in Wilmington, NC at the age of 65.

Sarah MOON and Thomas MOON were listed on the same page of the 1790 census, New Hanover county. Sarah must have had a large plantation because she owned 76 slaves and Thomas owned 14. Any help would be appreciated,

MS Mary Jane's father was Alfred HUDSON b. 1801 New Hanover, NC d. 1890 Coffee Co. AL. Was Noah the grandson on William Sr.? Who was Noah's father? Is this even the same family of Miller's?

My lines: Asa PARKER (b. 1775 Duplin Co., NC) m. Phoebe WOOD/s and moved to Jefferson Co., GA by 1802. By 1820 to Monroe Co., AL and by 1850 to Newton and Lauderdale Cos., MS. Asa had a brother, Jacob, mother Abigail, and sister named Sarah who married a MCCANNE. Eli Thomas MILLER (b. 1810 GA) m. Catherine RAINEY in Upson Co., GA in about 1830. They moved to Lauderdale Co., MS by 1838. Her parents were Edmond and Phoebe SLAYDEN. I think he is closely related to Charles Gause MILLER and his brother, James Miller who were sons of John MILLER of New Hanover Co., NC I am looking for Martin JOHNSON who was in Monroe Co., AL in late 1830's. I think he was married to Elizabeth PARTIN. Glad to share if anyone sees anything familiar!

I am seeking any information on John BENSON and his wife Ede BENSON . They were in New Hanover county abt1736-1750. John BENSON recieved a land grant on June 19th. 1736 for 350 acres of land near Town Creek. John BENSON also operated the ferry at Town Creek. John and Ede BENSON had three children: James BENSON, Mary BENSON, and Elizabeth BENSON.

I am looking for the parents of my gggg grandfather Benjamin SAUNDERS who lived and died in New Hanover Co abt 1816. He married (?) and had 2 boys Richard and Benjamin. Their mother came up missing and was never found. Then Benjamin married a Charity (COX?). One of their sons which is my ggg grandfather is Joseph SAUNDERS. Joseph married Mary SIMMONS. Any one out there with a possible match?
